Hello all. It is I, Carly Peters, back in Rexburg from the honeymoon and now a married woman. This past month has been the greatest of my life. I have never felt so happy before. I really didn't know that life could be this good and I almost feel undeserving. How could someone like me get so lucky? The wedding was a dream. Everything went so smoothly. I was not anxious or nervous, and it turned out perfectly. The sealing was AMAZING. I don't think I can emphasize enough how beautiful and perfect it was. The sealer we had was absolutely perfect for us. He was so funny and memorable. He shared the most inspired words, and the best part was that I didn't cry one bit! Can you believe it?! I'm quite astonished personally. That's how good he was. I have gone to quite a few sealings now and have walked away not being able to recall anything that was said, but I remember everything that our sealer said. I am so grateful for that. The luncheon and reception were awesome as well. Kurt's groomsmen sang him an acapella song at our luncheon. It was so sweet. Many friends and family turned out at the reception to show their support and love, and we so appreciated it. I got to spend the evening laughing and dancing the night away with my new husband. I got to have the fairytale wedding. I definitely felt like a princess and loved every minute of it. After that we went to Destinations Inn in Idaho Falls where we stayed in the Rome room. It was so fun and fancy. We decided we will have to go back on our anniversary and try a different sweet since they have so many fun ones to choose from. Two days later we headed for California to start our almost 3-week honeymoon. We had the most fun I think that any couple has ever had. We went all over. We traveled lots and had lots of fun doing it. We also got extremely spoiled by our families. We spent our three weeks going to San Francisco, Monterey Bay, Santa Cruz, Sacramento, Vallejo, and river rafting in Oregon. We went to amusement parks, swimming, to the beach, aquarium, out to eat, and lots and lots of shopping! Here are a few pictures to document our travels and adventures. Enjoy!
So the morning of our wedding Kurt decided he wanted to be a scout again... I'm glad he was excited to get married.
These were some awesome sunglasses we found in San Francisco
Yay for the best parents in the world!
See Transformers are real!
Mmm... real fresh seafood. I had died and gone to heaven.
Kurt lookin so cute in San Fran!
Sydney celebrated her 17th birthday while we were there and I got to decorate her cake. Woo hoo!
My dad likes Chinatown so much he was thinking about surgically altering his eyes to go with his new ponytail.

I am on the Santa Cruz wharf with the boardwalk in the background.
During our trip to the boardwalk in Santa Cruz, we just so happened to run into a girl I work with in Rexburg. What are the odds?
After we went on some rides, we rode bikes along the coast up to a lighthouse.
The lighthouse was on a cliff and really pretty.
Turns out the lighthouse was now a surf museum.
This was Kurt's favorite ride at the boardwalk. It was comprised of shooting ghosts with these little guns.
Obviously Kurt kicked my trash.
We went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. It was pretty amazing. These jellyfish were the coolest!
I always have a big appetite on vacation.
We went to lunch on the Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey and had some pelicans friends join us.
They were quite entertaining.
Of course we did spend a day on the beach!
The water was freezing so I let Kurt enjoy the ocean all by himself.
This was the hotel we stayed in. It was awesome to look out our window and see the beach!
Kurt had a little too much fun in the sun. Ouch!
We went to Big Basin on our drive back to Sacramento. The redwood trees were gorgeous!
When we went white water rafting in Oregon, my dad's brothers got to join us. It was a fun mini family reunion.
Feeding time at the aquarium!
Overall it was just the most magical experience. More wedding pictures will be soon to follow!
