My life is completely different now than how I thought it would be as a child. It's even completely different now than how I thought it would be when I was in high school. It's even completely different now than how I thought it would be a year ago! It's funny how the world changes and surprises you. I can't say that I'm disappointed though. It's a been a crazy ride, but I love where I'm headed! I am in my last semester of my undergrad and can't wait to graduate. I will be starting nursing school in August and couldn't be more excited about that. The best news of all though is that I will be getting married to my best friend and love of my life just a few days after I graduate on July 24th. What could be more perfect than that?! Kurt and I have been together for almost a year now and I think we have the kind of relationship that most people wish for during this life. I'm so grateful for the love, compassion, and grace that our Heavenly Father has for his children. I shudder to think where I'd be without it.
Wedding planning is going great! We are having a reception at the Atrium (in Hemming Village in Rexburg) on the 24th of July as well. We are so lucky that they are taking care of pretty much everything for us! Flowers, linens, photography, sound system, center pieces, full kitchen, you name it! It comes at a price of course, but it's totally worth it and I will still end up saving money in the end. It has made planning really easy, and I have most of it done now. I have a wedding dress as well, but it is currently getting altered. I should have the finished product by the end of May. We should be taking our engagement pictures in the middle of May and sending out our announcements in the beginning of June... so be watching for those!
I am so excited and consumed by thoughts of getting married in July, but for
right here and now, I am gonna enjoy the planning experience and focus on getting through my last semester of school.
